Sorry if this is a repost, I'm not sure the first one was sent properly.

Hello,

This will be my first MythTV build and I am pretty excited about it. I have
been reading around and looking at various hardware to suit my needs. I've
put together a list at newegg and was hoping I could share with the list for
comments and warnings about any hardware issues I'll run into.

I am in a university residence where they have analog cable to all of the
apartments, so I expect that an analog tuner will last me until I am out of
here (~4 years), at which point I plan on upgrading to an ATSC/QAM tuner
card. The rest of the box will be built with hopes of an HD box in mind.

The video card is cheap, fanless and I have heard that the 7300LE chip will
be capable of producing 1080p when the time comes to need it, but if not,
that can be upgraded in the future as well. I have a Memorex DVD burner
already that I plan on using. The CPU I am looking at will be a Core 2 Duo
4500 2.2GHz.

Thanks for any input.

Brian
