[mythtv-users] Switching to SD - Gentoo Wiki?

I'm sorry! Here's the URL. I can report that for the most part it
works. I'm up and running, at least sort of.

http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Switch_To_Schedules_Direct

The only small issues I ran into were these:

1) The Wiki assumes that you will modify your existing setup to use
Schedules-Direct. That is a good thing to do but I didn't sort of
understand that so I created a new video source, deleted the old video
source and had to change the connections. No big deal but it took
longer.

2) I currently have two channels showing up in my line-up that aren't
really there. I have not tried to fix that as I have other problems
with Xine after all the updates to get Myth working.

None the less it was all pretty straight forward and would have
been a bit easier if I had followed the instructions to the exact
letter. My bad I suppose.

Hope that helps and sorry for not sending the URL. Stupid me!

Cheers all,
Mark
