[mythtv-users] PVR-500 Tuner 1 quality

A while back the tuners were switched on the PVR-500 which caused signal 
quality problems on the first tuner.  There were a lot of suggestion out 
there in how to improve the quality of the first tuner.  One of the 
suggestions was to remove the EMI shield of the tuner ( which actually 
helped ).  Also a newer version of IVTV with an updated firmware also 
helped.

I haven't heard much on the topic lately, but I still have quality 
issues with the first tuner.  And now with the fall TV season coming I 
am going to need both tuners.

Has anyone out there found a solution for the turner quality?

As a side question.. Is the quality of the PVR-250 really any better 
then the PVR-150?
