I should mention that I am a paying member of SD and have no problem
paying the said amount. I feel it's appropriate for the quality of
data and service I'm getting and appreciate the fact that they're
trying to drop the price in the future. Even if they didn't, it's not
unreasonable - but that's me, and I can't expect my reasoning and
expectations match up with those of every other mythtv/SD user.

Anyway, on another note... I too use a lot of the advanced recording
options, including max recordings, do (or don't) record new, auto (or
don't) expire, priorities, scheduling my favorites in HD and some
others in SD, recording a few shows in case I don't want to watch
anything else (like recording Conan and keeping the last 2 latest
recordings at any given time), etc. The flexibility of myth is
amazing and I don't even know how many recording rules I have... I'm
sure I could easily find out, but it's been over 3 years now since
I've started using myth and they've built up.

Thanks!
Matt
