[mythtv-users] Problem with pressing the same button twice on the remote

Has anyone had a problem with repeat button presses on remotes?

if I press UP, DOWN, UP it works just fine.. but if I press the same
button multiple times it seems like it needs multiple presses for a
single event to trigger.

For example..  DOWN DOWN DOWN will register two DOWN presses (skipping
the middle one).. this doesn't happen if I do DOWN UP DOWN

Any ideas?
