[mythtv-users] asx file streaming to a windows pc - not working

This is kinda-sorta a MythTV question....

If I click on a asx link from MythWeb on my windows PC I get an 'open with'
dialog box ( explorer or firefox ) and I can select to use Windows
Media Player'.

I select the windows media player and I the applcation starts, but it does not
stream the file... it downloads the whole .mpg file ( this is an HDTV
recording )
and then plays the file... no streaming ever happens.

Is this an apache web server issue or is this a windows media player client
issue?

This is my 'game' pc so I don't use it for any web surfing or video playing...
just wanted to test out the asx streaming capabilites and discovered that it
doesn't work like I think it should....
