[mythtv-users] I don't want to use the frontend program (I don't think?)

I like the capability of the backend and all, but this is my (home)
office machine. I just want to record the history channel stuff that
drives my wife/kids crazy. I actually like watching movies in xine while
running a compile and thought I could do the same with tv shows on
mplayer. I don't need all the other pieces that come with the front end
(i.e. music, weather).
