While this is true, it does not necessarily mean that the picture will 
look identical. Some TVs treat DVI and HDMI inputs differently, e.g. in 
terms of overscan amount, processing, color space, 1:1 pixel mapping etc.

Usually, if both kind of inputs are available, DVI is better suited for 
connecting a PC (or at least not worse).
