Hi,
My current frontend is getting unstable and I've long wanted to make a
disk less frontend. But I cannot seem to find the right
motherboard. I'm currently only using a CRT TV, but I will probably
upgrade to some HDTV in the not so distant future. Ideally everything
should be on-board in order to minimize heat etc. So some
requirements are:
1) Built in GPU capable of HD support with DVI or HDMI, and S-Video TV-out
2) Built in sound that supports SPDIF at 44.1khz without re-sampling
3) Must support S3 (suspend to ram) in Linux
4) GBit LAN with PXE boot
The ASUS M2NPV-VM seems to match most criteria except 2)
I'm not sure it matters whether an Intel or AMD processor is used.
