And - as poetic justice, I'll need to do the same thing to one I received 
yesterday.  My older PVR-250 card had no blaster, and it's on my "main" PC, 
so I never use the remote with it.  Got a new PVR-150, got it hooked up in a 
slave backend, and realized that the while the blaster portion of the cord is 
long enough to control the DISH box, the IR receiver is only 2-3 feet long, 
i.e. not long enough to peek out from behind the entertainment center!  Come 
on, Hauppauge, give us at least 5-6 feet!
