I second the "pretty dangerous" ... many of my videos are stored on
the network, often on my kids' windows boxen.  I don't want all my
metadata to disappear just because they rebooted their windows machine
(happens much more often than my backend restarting) and Samba hasn't
reconnected to it.  Heck...I have my "player" script in place to
detect these links, and if they're broken attempt to remount the
filesystem before failing.

In addition, I don't want videos added without myself or my wife
coming in and making a decision on "parental control" level
(showlevel).  Unfortunately, I see no easy way to automate this step.
