Try Bob deinterlacing.  When I watch NFL on CBS or NBC (1080i), that
has the best deinterlacing picture of all the options.  I have other
issues with Bob for general use as it will make some shows look
horrible, particular SD in 1080i on my local CBS, so I can't leave it
on in general.  But on Sunday I'll typically flip it on if I'm going
to be watching a CBS or NBC game.
