In mythtvsetup you can specify whether user jobs can be run on a
specific backend.  Simply turn userjobs off on your master backend and
enable however many you want on the slave backend (frontend).  In fact
there's a process that can be run just to run user jobs, but I can't
remember what it's called, so you don't even need to run a full
backend.
