I've had pretty good luck using the Mythbuntu source packages. They have
both 0.20.2 and SVN ones, which I'm using. I started by installing the
binaries directly from the PPA repository, then I built it on my machine
using the source package from the same repository. I haven't had to
figure out any dependencies manually. I've only done some minor tweaks,
like making it build for production instead of debug and with processor
optimizations, since that affects playback performance signficantly.
It's even not very hard to update from SVN and continue to use the same
debian directory.
