Yeah, but as I note whenever this comes up, duty cycle is an issue:
some MythTV users are running their drives in a duty cycle *much*
closer to server than desktop, and those desktop drives may last 5
years... but not at 100% duty 24/7.

The SCSI drives will; I've done it.
