Not sure, I haven't tried it.
Try this, Edit your /etc/X11/XvMCConfig file and put this in it
"libXvMCNVIDIA_dynamic.so.1"
Remove the quotes, that should be all that is in the file, no path needed.
Then restart X and try playback again,
