[mythtv-users] Picture controls don't work

After installing MythDora 4.0, now I seem to have a new problem:
When I try to use the "F" or "G" command to adjust the playback
or recorder picture controls while watching analog cable. The
menu does appear, but whenever I try to move the controls one way
or the other using the arrow keys, the setting changes from its
default value (usually 50%) to "-1%". The video quality doesn't
change.

Anybody know what would cause these controls to malfunction like
this? I'm using a pcHDTV HD-5500 card. The picture controls were
working fine when I had MythTV running on Red Hat Enterprise
Linux 5. I switched to MythDora to correct some audio issues, but
now I can't fine-tune the analog cable picture quality.

I do have the "Use Xv picture controls" option checked in the
frontend setup.
