Failure to set the wake-up from the BIOS doesn't necessarily mean that
ACPI wakeup won't work.  I wasted a lot of time trying to prove that I
could set a wakeup manually.  I never did succeed with that, but ACPI
worked first time (once I made the mod to /etc/init.d/halt described
by Craig.
