[mythtv-users] nVidia tearing if dual display?

My nVidia display shows tearing, despite trying all the sync settings.  I
finally came across a threat relating to dual head use causing tearing.
 
My 8xxx series card has 2 DVI outputs,   One is used to drive the little
screen on the PC case, one is used to drive my projector.
 
Anyone have an idea/solution - does dual head use somehow screw up sync?
