Has anyone tried to get get DVB-S to work where the transponder doesn't
have any NIT/SDT tables. In Australia there is a service called Imparja TV
which tries to hide their transmissions by not providing a service ID.

If i'm correct MythTV usually uses the Service ID to work out what the A/V
PIDs are for a transmission. In the case of Imparja there is no SID but I
do know the A/V PIDs. Is there any way to load a channel against a
transponder and then force the A/V PIDs?

Steve
