Yeah, first they told us that green was scientifically chosen to be
easiest on our eyes. Then they decided they were wrong, and everyone
should buy an amber monitor. Then they decide that perhaps "paper white"
was the best, a technology that was pioneered in the 1950s.

Great marketing: Make everyone buy 3 or 4 monitors with the same resolution.

The ones with "better" features are getting more expensive perhaps, but
a basic 32" LCD that will do 1080i costs far less today than 2 years ago.
