[mythtv-users] mythfrontend does no react on every remote/lirc "click"

well, I can only say "me too"  :(. I have the same problem. And I
always had this problem, with three different receivers.

I have PVR150 with a remote and it behaves the same way as a PVR500
MCE remote with built-in imon received. I also had a Leadtek card with
a remote, and it was same problem.

Keyboard does not have a lag.

I actually thought that everyone have this "problem" and that this is
standard behavior, because I saw the same situation on the few other
mythboxes. I am using Mplayer for watching movies, and Mplayer does
react better when change volume, but not much better.


I am not doing anything special in my lirc configuration. .lircrc
looks like this:
begin mythtv
    begin
        prog = mythtv
        button = Back/Exit
        config = Esc
        repeat = 0
    end
    begin
        prog = mythtv
        button = Menu/i
        config = M
        repeat = 0
    end

.....
end mythtv


As I said, I can use MythTv very comfortably with a remote, but it
might be much better. When I hold pressed button "Down" on the
keyboard, menu selection is changing much faster than with remote,
although remote sends enough commands and lirc (irw) catches these.
