[mythtv-users] HELP!!! Sound lost from all but HDTV shows.

I'm guessing you have a corrupted sound card state that's being saved by
the very helpful startup/shutdown scripts.  Most likely if you rmmod all
your sound modules, then delete the /etc/asound.state, then modprobe the
sound module, then unmute/set sliders, you'll be able to hear sound
again.  (Unless, of course some nice modprobe.conf remove configuration
runs the sound state restore at just the wrong time.)

Good idea.. didn't work.
I rmmoded all sound devices and deleted the sound state.
I then ran aslaconf to recreate the sound state. Same issue.

I have another identical mobo/case but it was not being used for myth.. I'm
planning on swapping the HDD's to the other system and seeing if that helps.
