Not sure if this would be a better question for the lirc list, but
here goes.
I finally have mythtv 0.22.2 setup on OpenSuSE 10.2 and now I'm
trying to fix the biggest issue I have.
I have this goofy digital video service out here in the sticks in
Minnesota. It's a nice service but there is one set-top box /
gateway in the basement which sends three separate streams to the TV's
in the house and depending on what channel you are viewing (3, 7 or
13) you get a different stream. Each TV needs a special remote that
is programed to change one of these streams.
I have my tuner (PVR500) set to start on channel 7 and I can use the
remote control that is programmed for this stream. Now that I'm
looking at recording shows though I need to somehow enable IR
Blasting to change the channels programatically. I looked into IR
Blasting a little but it looks like a normal configuration has this
combined with a set top box. What I need to do is have the IR
Blaster signal work on the remote - not sure if this is possible?
I do notice that lirc has a config for the remote:
http://lirc.sourceforge.net/remotes/motorola/SRC-200A so that's a
good start.
Any pointers?
Josh
