[mythtv-users] Can't play DVDs

The machine is new, running gentoo.  It's the same version of
libdvdcss (1.2.9-r1).  The region has been set to 1, and the discs are
region 1.

I haven't had the opportunity to install mplayer, but my gut tells me
the DVDs won't play in them, either.
