[mythtv-users] Mythtranscode dies - any alternatives?

I'm trying to archive "The War" episodes, and some are slightly over 2 hrs,
won't fit on a std DVD, so I'd like to cut them in half. If I create a
simple cut list, MythArchive starts up mythtranscode, but it seg faults
before it can complete; so the archive skips the cut list and proceeds with
the original recording. Probably some minor corruption in the recording
(1080i HD).

The original recordings play ok, so is there any other way I can trim them
down?

I'm using a SVN fixes of 0.20 from Nov 4, 2007.
