[mythtv-users] Don't understand seektables - need some help

I have a rather large recording from TV, about 2.5 hours in length.  I edit
it, cut out all the commercials, and then run mythtranscode --honorcutlist
--mpeg2 on it.  The video produced is an mpeg, can be played perfectly on
other systems like Windows Media Player.

I finish my cutlisting by running mythcommflag -f FILE --rebuild and then
mythcommflag -f FILE --clearcutlist.  No errors are produced, but when I try
and play the recording back in mythtv, it starts playing nice enough, but
only runs for about 10 minutes before skipping to a frame that is beyond the
end of the movie (trimmed off the end) and then stopping play.  The total
length of the movie in the "position" bar that pops up when you seek around
is only around an hour as well.  What's going on?
