Have a look at http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/milestone/unknown and click
the links down the right hand side to see what's being worked on for
the next release. You'll see there's a truck load of development going
on, some of which is complete, some of which isn't.

And then see http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/wiki/FutureDevelopment for
what could be in store later.
