[mythtv-users] Any new updates/version of MythTV in sight?

It's been quite a while since the last full release, sure -  but the 
mythtv developers don't like to rush things.  Resources are also very 
stretched.  If you want shorter times between releases, help out 
somehow.  If you can't code, test the SVN trunk version & submit good 
bug reports.  If you can't do that, help keep the wiki up to date.  If 
you can't do that ... can you be patient?

As far as other projects 'catching up' is concerned - this isn't some 
kind of competition ;)
