For me, this appears to be happening anytime MythMusic is active.

I do like MythMusic detecting the CD when I start MythMusic, but I
would think it could stop checking unless perhaps I wanted to edit my
playlists or something.  That sounds better than checking twice every
second to see if there is a disk in the drive.
