[mythtv-users] About to give up - Avermedia 771 - not sensitiveenough for UK DVB?

I've never seen any mention of a pre-amp for this card!

 

I would also be interested in the model number of the Freecom device.

Could I ask the model Number of the Freecom USB's you used? I have been working sort of ok with a Nova-T 500 dula, but still get quite a few lockups.

 

On the original thread, I wonder if the card needs the same as the Nova-t where you have to specifically turn on the pre amp in the tuner card?
