In mythtv-setup make sure that you have commercial flagging enabled and 
if you enable time limits that your attempt is during those hours. Once 
set up you will not need to manually schedule the event. That will 
happen either right after the recording starts or more typically at the 
end of the recording, depending on your setup options.
