Although I've deleted all the original fonts, all the ones that were there 
originally are replaced by fonts of the same name from the macbook. I just 
deleted all of them because I wanted to simplify the untar-ing process. The 
AppleTV interface still works after this procedure. I actually wanted to 
still be able to use the AppleTV interface as well, so I added a menu item 
to myth to launch it. It started up correctly and came to the front, but 
there were some issues with the remote control, and also there's no way to 
quit and get back to mythtv by default. I need to spend a bit more time on 
this.

I really want to back up the installation that I've now got and redo the 
whole thing. That way I could verify the procedure and also copy the fonts 
across one by one to find which ones are needed. Again, the problem is find 
the time to do this and getting authorisation from my other half to start 
messing around with the tv again ;o)
