[mythtv-users] new MB and capture card

Ok, I've been struggeling to get my Hauppauge HVR-1300 to work with 
MythTV. So far it's a semi success. Digital works fine, analog doesnt 
work that good, soundpipe gets broken and the backend totally stops 
responding (frontend blacks out).

Well, then I thought I ought to buy a new card. What is the card of 
recommendation. I read a lot of the PVR-250. What is the difference to 
the PVR-350. What I have found is the S-video connector. This is already 
on the HVR-1300 so thats sorted :D .

I also want to separate the frontend from the backend and do a real 
client/server setup. For this I need a new MB. Anything new on the 
market that can cope with HD (at least 1080i)?
