[mythtv-users] P4 2.8 for HD without XvMC?

Works for me. I have an HP DC530 2.8Ghz with 1G memory running
MythDora 3.2 and an Nvidia 6200 and a second one running Suse 10.1
with Nvidia 5200. The first does 1080i, while the second is doing
1280x768. Neither is using XvMC. Processor is at about 70%, with
Myth using about 45-55%. The Suse uses a little more CPU since it must
deinterlace; I let the TV do the deinterlacing for the 1080i. Both
are FE/BS with the Suse being the Master BE. All storage is on the
Master BE. The only thing I notice is that I can't speed up playback
of HD content beyond 1.1 before I run out of CPU power. SD has no
problem.

I tried to use XvMC but this causes audio problems. I never took the
time to try to resolve it since it works without it.
