I'm not sure what the difference is between MCE and non MCE, but I followed
this guide http://www.blushingpenguin.com/mark/blog/?p=24 to get my PVR-150
non MCE version working with the IR Blaster on Fedora Core 6 (
2.6.20-1.2944.fc6).  It works like a champ.  My firmware is located in
/lib/firmware.  Not much, but I hope that helps.
