If so, it's not because of your kernel version.

IOBOUND errors have nothing to do, per se, with the issue; see

I haven't seen the issue (my issue, at least) in a couple of months
and currently use .2944 with 18 days of uptime. My theory is that it
has something to do with intensive reads/writes on my main disk (I'd
seen 'yum update' trigger the issue a couple of times), as moving
/var/lib/mysql to the RAID 5 array seems to have been the main reason
for my not having seen the issue lately, and not a newer kernel
version (especially if you're seeing the same issue)
