The "wait for it" comes from a reality show?  I have to admit I had no 
idea where it came from.

I've seen one episode of Survivor (final episode of Season 2 or 3) and 
decided I really like TV as my escape from reality (or, some producer's 
twisted idea of reality, as the case may be ;).   But, to each his own.  
(In other words, after writing all that good MythTV code you're writing, 
you deserve a break every once in a while--even if you want to spend it 
watching reality TV.)
