Hi,

i built a HTPC with this card (and MythTV of course). I will describe my
problem later, first info about my system :

lspci -v :
02:03.0 Multimedia video controller: Conexant CX23880/1/2/3 PCI Video and
Audio Decoder (rev 05)
Subsystem: LeadTek Research Inc. Unknown device 6611
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 17
        Memory at fd000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16M]
        Capabilities: [44] Vital Product Data
Capabilities: [4c] Power Management version 2

dmesg (tried with and without tuner=38) :

My big problem is audio, because it is routed via internal audio cable and
none of 2 sound cards handle this situation correctly :

1) I can't get sound routed via this cable from hda-intel (AD1988) on my
motherboard at all, it looks like line input on AD1988 is not supported or
there is something strange with that motherboard.

2) SB Live! 1024 works, but the sound is directly routed to output, so there
is no chance for mythtv to record this sound, and of course the sound is
valid only for backend (because only the backend is in same time as sound),
but not for frontend, which really matters.

Anyone have suggestions how to solve this (i don't know if it is a MythTV
thing or not)? Or if it is not solvable, then what card can anyone suggest,
which can route sound correctly without that cable ?

Thanks for all responses
