So far, the picture seems pretty good.  I'm not *fully* up in MythTV 
yet, as I'm still working on the remote.  So far, even using VGA, it has 
high WAF.  I've not noticed any banding or lines or anything like that 
(yet).  The blacks seem good.  I've not done a detailed look at the 
shadows, yet.  Mentally, I'm comparing this to a ~10 year old Sony 36" 
Trinitron type tube, running off of DirecTivos, and myth is running off 
cable, so, apple to apple comparisons may or may not be valid (mentally).

But, now that you made a note of the shadows, I'll definitely  look the 
next time I'm in TV or watching a  recording.

I'll keep you informed.
