If it's for a dedicated box, only install the packages you really
need. I'm still running FC4 on two boxes - they're stable, and I'm
waiting for some time before I upgrade to Fedora 7 (I'm waiting until
ivtv hits the mainline kernel (2.6.22) before reinstalling, as this
will mark a huge (for PVR users) event.

atrpms.net has MythTV available for RHEL4 and 5 - which is what CentOS
is recompiled from.
