[mythtv-users] Enable *more* extra audio buffer setting (audio stutter on some channels)?

Does anyone know if it is possible to get Mythtv to add more extra
audio buffers than the normal when you select this option?  If I
disable this option all channels have audio stuttering.  If I enable
the option most channels are fine but a few are still stuttering so I
probably need more buffering?  Does anyone know if this is possible
and how?
