Try running top to see whats actually running. It could also be that 
your capture device(s) have become lost or changed irq. If rebooting 
everything does not fix it then try deleting and recreating your capture 
devices and channel lineups. Its possible your sql database has become 
corrupted, try running the database repair script in the contribs folder 
before attempting any of the other more drastic steps.
