Might be a shocker to some people, but I don't really care about HD.
If/when I buy a new TV, it will probably be HD, just because it's new, but I
have no immediate plans to replace my old SD sets. I have two SD sets right
now, one of which I got from my parents since the sound didn't work. I
hooked some old computer speakers up to the frontend box and have been using
it happily for 6 months or better.

I think a lot of people just aren't willing to pay the extra for HD service
yet. They have the HD TV because they wanted a bigger one, but are waiting
for the service to get more competitive.
