Coo, the trouble I had to get my machine to wake up.  Sod's law at work!

A few more things you can try.

What does

cat /proc/acpi/alarm

return?

Does your MB support any of  Day/Month/Year in the wake up time, if so
can you set these to zero via the BIOS?

Download the latest manual and/or BIOS from the manufacturer's website
for clues/fixes.

You could always turn the computer off using the switch on the back.
That would stop it waking up (I should think), and save a small bit of
the planet at the same time.
