Oh, actually that's the problem.  Myth shows you what channels are
available to Myth.  If Myth can't record anything, you have no
channels--regardless of what's in the DB.

Sounds like you need to use FreeGuide or something else similar,
instead.  ( http://freeguide-tv.sourceforge.net/ )
