How do,
  I have two systems, 1 AMD Athlon based running a BE and FE, with dual USB tuners. The second system is an Via 1.5GHz motherboard running as an FE only.
  The two systems are sync'd via ntp to the standard pool clocks, and do not appear to have any perceptible difference in time.
  They are running FC linux, using the atrpms collection for myth, both are kept relatively up-to-date (when I remember, and certainly before giving up on something that doesn't seem to work right).

  The symptom is that I cannot enable PIP on the via FE, whereas I can enable it on the Athlon.
  The cause appears to be that when I enable PIP on the FE it asks the BE for a new ringbuffer. This ring buffer, appears to be N-1, where:
  N=/mnt/store/<chanid>_<reversedate><reversetime>
  The time appears to be 1 smaller than it should be. I.e. the FE reports to the terminal session cannot open xxxx_xxxxxx25, but the file xxxx_xxxxxxx26 exists! The xxx26 file increases in size until I disable PIP, but the FE still complains about the xxx25 file not being there until I disable the PIP.
  Anyone else seen this issue, or can even suggest a resolution? On the BE system the file is created correctly and both tuners are active and PIP works (i.e I have checked I have enough tuners free).
  Hope I am clear enough.
  Thanks,
  Gareth
