Thanks for the reply.  Yes, I think the mini-patch was supposed to stop 
Mythtranscode swapping or losing audio streams.  Mythreplex comes later 
in (my) archiving sequence and may only work with one stream. Sorry!

Native mode might make a working archive if you don't need a 
standards-compliant DVD.
