[mythtv-users] Fluctuating brightness on PVR-150 Composite video

Guys,

I'm having trouble with fluctuating brightness on my PVR-150 recording from
composite video. The brightness "pulses" on dark scenes with about 5 seconds
between
pulses. It looks almost like Macrovision protection only not so bright just
a small but very annoying variation.
In addition a soft dark vertical band traverses across the picture taking
about 10 sec to cross.

There are no problems recording from antenna/aerial.

Is this a known problem? Is there any easy fix?
