[mythtv-users] Stuttery / jerky DVD playback

I rip my DVD's too (to ISO)..

Since I switched to xine for DVD playback, the picture is perfect.

However, I cannot change Myth's TV player...so I get jerky video on live or
recorded TV.  That's what I can't figure out...

...don't you have a choice of which mpeg2 decoding library you can use
inside of MythTV. Perhaps that's the issue. I rip all of my DVD's, so I
avoid this problem entirely...
